From Breckenridge, MN
One guy, one guitar, and a set that runs from alt-rock covers to country and back through his own songs. Derek has spent the summer playing bars, breweries, and festival stages across lakes country — Perham to Fargo and everywhere between.
In August 2026 that included a Suite Shots Unplugged set in the East Village at WE Fest in Detroit Lakes — one of the biggest country music festivals in the U.S., an hour up the road from home — a slot he won through Suite Shots' Acoustic Fest series in Fargo.
His original "Lake Girl" turned heads on WDAY's Coffee Club, and the Headwaters Music Festival keeps asking him back. Now booking fall & winter dates.
